At dwpa, we pride ourselves on accommodating your specific requirements and operational realities and our Remote/live-virtual Training option provides participants with the flexibility to attend from any location, which reduces the impact on your productivity and operating costs without compromising on the program learning objectives.
All of our Trainers have completed, or are working towards completion of, an independently certified Trainer qualification (TÜV), which enhances their ability to successfully translate the in-person training experience to the remote/live-virtual format.
We develop tailored classes to meet our customer’s needs, and this extends to the solutions we deliver via our remote/live-virtual training model, so please contact us for more information and to determine if a solution we customize for you can be delivered via this method.

The program will introduce wind turbine specific examples and will encompass all relevant Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic, and Electronic systems and components.

Technical Sprints are designed to enhance your theoretical knowledge within one of the following topics: Controls, Hydraulics, Mechanicals, Gearbox and Electrics.
Advanced Platform Theory
Our 5-day theoretical training is a deep dive into the specifics of your specific wind turbine model. We do not just teach theory. We tailor the training around your turbines.
Who can benefit?
We have online wind turbine training courses available to support a variety of roles such as:
- Wind Turbine Technicians
- O&M personnel involved with the management/supervision of wind turbine service & maintenance activities
- Remote Operations Centre Staff
Our online ‘Distance Learning’ programs are conducted live and allow participants to receive the benefits of Trainer interaction whilst also participating in group exercises via the use of ‘breakout’ rooms.
We take great care to maximize participant ‘activation’ and ensure an engaging and hands-on experience to maximise the learning experience and ensure that participants can quickly apply the technical theory they have learned in their place of work.
In addition, we have also developed a series of 1-day ‘Technical Sprint’ modules which have been designed to provide generic theoretical knowledge development across core technical areas including Electrics, Mechanics, Hydraulics, Controls and Drive-train/Gearbox.
The Practicalities
Our trainers conduct the courses from studios located across three different time-zones, ensuring we can easily adapt to your working hours.
Participants will receive supporting information in advance of the training with practical exercises, groupwork assignments, and ‘homework’ activities (in some cases).
To ensure the best possible learning experience, the class size is carefully defined for each ‘Distance Learning’ delivery.
We have worked with Translators across multiple regions and can find a solution to train in your native language.
