Technical Competency Assessment
The dwpa assessment tool provides an advantage in understanding the level of each participant. This ensures that participants are attending classes and training sessions that are appropriate for their skill level, avoiding wasted time in sessions that may not be beneficial to them.
By assessing participants’ competencies from the outset, you can create personalized development plans that target specific areas for improvement, ultimately saving time and resources.
This approach recognizes that not all participants will require the same solutions or development paths, and allows for a more tailored approach to skill enhancement and career progression.
Advanced Platform Theory
An advanced wind turbine type-specific theory class designed to provide a deep awareness of all turbine systems and sub-systems and provide a solid foundation to support core maintenance activities and the development towards advanced troubleshooting technician status.
Actual performance and fault data are used to provide real-life examples and each class is tailored to the participant group and any specific aspects associated with their company to enhance the learning experience.
The main goal is to reach deep technical understanding of all systems in wind turbine and to be ready to start to work and improve skills and aim to performing Maintenance and Troubleshooting efficiently.
5 days of on-site Advanced Platform Theory training with a maximum of 12 participants in a 2MW turbine = 42,100 €* (Regardless of the number of participants)
All prices exclude travel and accommodation for the In-person delivery model and a ‘studio fee’ for the Distance Learning model which will be confirmed at the time of booking. Price adjustments based on development in cost inflation will be implemented according to a quarterly review.
Maintenance
Platform Specific Maintenance Training is 100% hands-on, onsite practical training, designed for technicians and takes place at your wind farm, utilizing OEM Maintenance documents as your baseline reference.
Maintenance activities, safety aspects, and current faults in the maintenance procedures will be highly focused during the training. Using the wind farms’ common faults, refining the OEM checklist, and ending with new actionable improvements to future practices will ensure dynamic, effective, preventative maintenance.
This turbine-specific course is designed to ensure that participants understand not only “what” scheduled (preventative) maintenance tasks to undertake but also “why” they need to be undertaken.
5 days of on-site Maintenance training with a maximum of 6 participants in a 2MW turbine = 15,600 €* (Regardless of the number of participants)
All prices exclude travel and accommodation for the In-person delivery model and a ‘studio fee’ for the Distance Learning model which will be confirmed at the time of booking. Price adjustments based on development in cost inflation will be implemented according to a quarterly review.
Troubleshooting
Practical, hands-on training to develop a deep understanding of troubleshooting methods, techniques, and pre-analysis to find the root causes in all scenarios.
The troubleshooting training is one-day classroom and two days practical in the turbines, based on wind farm faults for all market operators.
The troubleshooting training is designed to help technicians understand complex electric and hydraulic diagrams. It includes various exercises where participants engage in real-life troubleshooting.
The main goal is to reach the technical understanding of troubleshooting methods, analysis, and techniques to solve any failures at a high-quality level.
With the Certificate, the participants can perform the correct troubleshooting methodologies, and demonstrate the correct RCA techniques
5 days of on-site Troubleshooting training with a maximum of 6 participants in a 2MW turbine = 25,700 €* (Regardless of the number of participants)
All prices exclude travel and accommodation for the In-person delivery model and a ‘studio fee’ for the Distance Learning model which will be confirmed at the time of booking. Price adjustments based on development in cost inflation will be implemented according to a quarterly review.
