US Wind Turbine Training & Sales Coordinator

As a Wind Turbine Training Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the smooth operation of wind turbine training by managing various administrative tasks and providing support to the sales and operations team in the US.

This multifaceted role involves coordinating and preparing training, overseeing travel arrangements, organizing conferences, marketing activities, managing customer follow-up, handling training logistics, and maintaining CRM databases.

Responsibilities

Planning and Coordination: 

  • Collaborate with team members to plan and prioritize tasks for training classes.
  • Ensure effective communication and pre-coordination occurs between customers and respective dwpa stakeholders. (easier to arrange in US timezones … may be able to assist with assessments as well)

Travel Arrangements:

  • Coordinate travel logistics for team members traveling to US, including flight bookings, hotel accommodations, and transportation arrangements.
  • Ensure travel plans are well-organized and cost-effective, adhering to company policies and budgets.
  • Point of Contact for emergent trainer travel issues whilst training in US.

Marketing Support: 

  • Assist in the creation of US-focused marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and promotional campaigns, whilst leveraging existing dwpa global marketing materials and templates.
  • In full collaboration with Denmark support, help maintain the company’s US online presence through website updates, social media management, and email marketing.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies for the US and rest of world
  • Coordinate the US shipment of marketing materials, and other necessary items to various locations as needed.

Conference Planning:

  • Assist in planning and organizing conferences, trade shows, and industry events related to wind energy.
  • Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, booth setup, promotional materials, and staffing arrangements.
  • Manage pre-event and post-event communication with attendees, exhibitors, and sponsors.

Customer Follow-up:

  • Assist and ensure US sales conducts timely follow-up with customers to address inquiries, provide information, and gather feedback.
  • Help to maintain positive relationships with customers through a communication plan that go out for dwpa events, seasonal and promotional updates.
  • Provide customer analysis and site updates across NAM wtg fleet to help focus strategy

Quotes and Proposals:

  • Assist in quote generation outside of European hours of support by preparing quotes and proposals for potential customers based on their specific requirements and preferences
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of quotes and proposals before submission.

Maintaining Customer Contacts and Database:

  • Assist in reviewing and maintaining customer contact information in the CRM database.
  • Review customer activities and follow-ups of previous projects, inquiries, and contacts.
  • Input relevant information into the CRM system, including customer interactions, sales activities, PO’s and project updates.
  • Generate reports and analytics from the CRM database to track sales performance and identify trends.

Presentation Preparation:

  • Leverage existing PowerPoint presentations & templates and update for sales meetings, conferences, and client presentations.
  • Create professional and engaging presentations as necessary by utilizing visual aids, charts, and graphics to effectively communicate key messages and data.

Qualifications:

  • Certificate in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in administrative support, customer service, or sales coordination.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management and record-keeping.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, WEBcrm) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate well with customers.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced global environment.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for conferences or customer meetings.
  • Current Passport for onboarding in Denmark.
