Carsten L. Andersen, instructor responsible for NEG-Micon & Micon courses, says:

Among the mechanics, electrics and the TAC controllers from NMCS, I pay the strongest attention to the hydraulic systems in these turbines. We find a relatively high complexity in the pitch systems of the NEG-Micon turbines in recent years. This includes the NM82/1650, which was taken over by Vestas in 2003. I work in very close connection with most of the sub-suppliers of the NEG-Micon turbines, especially with all the earlier hydraulic suppliers like AVN-Energy (now Hydratech), Bosch Rexroth and Parker Hannifin to make sure that documentation and spare-part lists for our courses and thereby for the NEG-Micon owners and operators are fully updated. Through my work as a technician for more than 14 years I have learned what it takes to become a good wind turbine technician. This means that my experience will lead you to a stronger focus on improving wind turbine performance, on gaining operational excellence and on more transparency in your operation, and last but not least on achieving today's important "Generation Mindset". I look forward to meeting you and to helping you improve the performance of your assets, too.
